After several years of making regular updates to social networking sites, but neglecting this one, I have finally decided to do a redesign. I needed something to match the business cards I had printed. The tree design is something I created in 2010 in Illustrator to use as a wall mural, and is something I've turned into a personal identity.

Previously I had only used table based layouts, but web standards have changed since then and CSS is preferred. This is my first foray into a layout done completely with CSS. I've used CSS before, of course, but never this extensively. This was definitely a good learning exercise. I also split the different elements up into seperate PHP files in order to simplify the creation and update of the site.

Social networking sites reduced the need of many of the functions I used to use this website for.
